The primary design features include:

Re-orienting the Chapel from a nave type to a centralized plan.

Providing safer and more convenient access to all areas of the Chapel.

Developing a sensitive layout which will allow a more intimate feel for daily use, and to accommodate guests and visitors as needed.

Binghamton, New York

The renovations to the McDevitt Residence for Retired Priests Chapel in Binghamton, New York, as designed by Teitsch-Kent-Fay Architects, P.C. were designed to make the space more central and intimate for the use of the residents and their guests.

Particular attention was given to increasing the light levels in the space and removing any changes in floor level that were difficult for the residents.
